Rock Brasil festival celebrates 40 years of the explosion of Brazilian rock with the 2022 edition of the event, which takes place between March 27th and April 21st in São Paulo. The event's program also includes parallel events immersing participants in the history of Brazilian rock.

With a lineup paying homage to Brazilian rock from the 1980s, from Paralamas do Sucesso to Titãs , the event is not limited to the concerts announced to take place at the Memorial da América Latina: there is also a program with film screenings, exhibitions, musicals and lectures by journalist Nelson Motta .

The bands Capital Inicial, Plebe Rude, Biquini Cavadão, and Paralamas do Sucesso are confirmed for the festival's opening night on March 27th. In the following weeks, always on Sundays, Barão Vermelho, Bebel Gilberto, Ultraje a Rigor, Titãs, Ira, Humberto Gessinger, Nando Reis, and Marina Lima are some of the confirmed highlights. The parallel programming of the Rock Brasil festival includes lectures by Motta, a film series showcasing the history of national rock idols, with films about Cazuza, Blitz , and Barão Vermelho, and musical performances based on the work of Cássia Eller, Renato Russo , and others, all at the Banco do Brasil Cultural Center. Finally, two free exhibitions will take place at the Banco do Brasil Building, located on Avenida Paulista, featuring photographs and artwork. Access the complete program here .

Pre-sale tickets began this Thursday, the 10th, exclusively for Banco do Brasil and Ourocard customers, with a 50% discount on the purchase. Sales to the general public will open on February 16th, with prices ranging from R$ 80 (general admission) to R$ 200 (VIP area) per event day.
