Carlos do Santos Monteiro , 57, better known as Nenê, was killed on the night of last Saturday, the 15th, after defending a woman who was being harassed in his bar. This information comes from the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), through its press office.
The crime took place at Malta Rock Bar, located in the South Zone of São Paulo, when the owner intervened to defend a 32-year-old female employee from harassment ( via Folha de S. Paulo ). He was murdered on the street in front of the bar with a pocketknife.
According to G1 , Diego de Almeida Pereira, the aggressor, 34 years old, had his arrest in flagrante delicto converted to preventive detention, in addition to serving his sentence in freedom.
The police report filed by the Civil Police states that witnesses saw the aggressor showing signs of intoxication.
