Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine are also on the list
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame organization announced on Tuesday, the 9th, the nominees for the "Class of 2019". The selected names will be analyzed by a team of experts and announced in December of this year, while the ceremony will take place in March 2019.
The names nominated for the Hall of Fame are: Def Leppard, DEVO, Janet Jackson, John Prine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, MC5, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Todd Rundgren, Rufus & Chaka Khan, and The Zombies .
The rule used to select the names states that the artist must have released their first single or album at least 25 years ago. This list marks the first nominations for Def Leppard, Devo, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, and John Prine.
