Bassist talks about the album
In an interview with City Pages, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo spoke about the sound of Metallica's new album and explained why the first single released was the song "Hardwired." Check out his statement:
“Hardwired is the perfect example to introduce the sound of the album. I think this album is killer. In terms of sound, it has a lot of power. I'm very excited about the songs and the sound quality. Greg Fidelman did a great job on the production.”.
It's a really fun and challenging type of music. It can be a bit complex, but it has really strong melodies. I feel like we've matured as a band. We've faced a lot of creative challenges over time, and as we get older we take more risks, you know?”
