Tye Trujillo , son of Metallica 's Robert Trujillo , and Noah Weiland, son of the late Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Scott Weiland, have teamed up to form a new band called Blu Weekend.
The two had previously been members of Suspect208 until Noah was kicked out of the group amid allegations of drug abuse. Now, he and Tye are investing in a new band that also features drummer Jackson Morris and guitarist Anthony Laurie.
Blu Weekend's debut took place last Sunday, the 27th, at an event in Hollywood, California, and they were interviewed by The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show , who asked them to define the band's style: "I think we have more of a punk vibe," said Tye.
In 2017, Korn 's bassist Fieldy during the band's South American tour and became famous for his talent and natural stage presence. Eric Blair asked if he would return to Korn now that Fieldy has left . He replied: "I know the songs from a while back, so I have my experience playing with them."
