Do you consider yourself generous? You might have to think twice before answering that after Robert Plant shared a hilarious memory of Willie Nelson handing out marijuana from his tour bus.
In his podcast, Digging Deep , Plant shared more details about his recent tour with the folk legend ( Clutch song title ), sparing no praise and, certainly, secrets. “The moment I’ll take away most from my career was staying awake for a few days. Not going home, just going to the next place. Discovering that I was in transit forever,” Plant recounts.
“We were invited to play with Willie Nelson two months ago and he was traveling on his tour with a big bus giving marijuana to everyone,” he reveals. “He just hands it out. It’s a shipment from here to… a disco ball and beyond. For free. With the doors open, grab your hit and go to the other side.”.
