Robert Plant , the vocalist of Led Zeppelin , has teamed up with Paul Weller to release the new song "Clive's Song." The track is part of Weller's upcoming album of covers, Find El Dorado .
Originally performed by folk singer Hamish Imlach on his album Old Rarity (1971), “Clive's Song” was written by Clive Palmer, one of the founders of the Incredible String Band , a band cited by Plant as an influence on Led Zeppelin.
The track marks Plant's first appearance on a record since his collaboration with Alison Krauss, Raise the Roof , in 2021.
Paul Weller invited Robert Plant to duet because of the Led Zeppelin vocalist's love for folk and blues songs.
Robert Plant recently completed a tour of Sweden, Norway, and Finland at the end of May. Starting July 10th, he will be performing for three weeks in Italy, France, and Spain.
