Robert Freeman , the photographer behind the Beatles , has died at the age of 82.

His work includes photos of the covers for With The Beatles , Beatles For Sale , Help!, and Rubber Soul .

He also worked on the final sequences of the band's first two films, 'Hard Day's Night' and 'Help!'.

Paul McCartney paid tribute to Freeman through a post on his blog. He described the photographer as a "wonderful man" and "one of his favorite photographers who invented some of the most iconic album covers."
