Machine Head wants opinions for a new project

Robb Flynn discusses the band's future plans

In a text published yesterday on the official Machine Head website, Flynn says that with the end of their contract with Roadrunner Records, he doesn't know if the band should release any more CDs.

He says that with the rise of iTunes and Spotify, releasing CDs might not be the most interesting thing for a band. Flynn comments that he no longer has the patience to listen to long albums. Giving examples of short and historic CDs, Flynn praises Paranoid by Black Sabbath and Reign in Blood by Slayer.

Flynn ends his text by asking fans for their opinion on how the band should release their next project, giving the example of an online CD or a USB drive. He asks for new ideas, saying, "Send me an email, a tweet, post it on our Facebook page.".
