October is almost here and plans for Halloween are already taking shape. The soundtracks for Rob Zombie 's Halloween and Halloween II will be released on vinyl for the first time.
Both soundtracks feature compositions by Tyler Bates , dialogue from the film, and, of course, songs that played in the movie. Alice in Chains, Kiss, The Moody Blues , and Motorhead are some of the names that were part of the project.
The release will be on 180-gram colored vinyl and will include liner notes by Rob Zombie, as well as several exclusive photos from Zombie's personal collection and new artwork by Robert Sammelin.
The tracks will be released, of course, on October 31st, the date on which Halloween is celebrated, and are already available for pre-order . Below you can see some photos of the releases.
The remake of the 1978 classic was directed by Rob Zombie and featured a screenplay by John Carpenter , as well as the musician himself. The film was released in 2007 and its sequel in 2009.
