Rob Halford came out as gay 20 years ago
In an interview with Kerrang! Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford spoke about the discrimination faced by the LGBTQ community. “We still have a long way to go,” said Halford, who came out as gay 20 years ago. “It’s 2018 and we’re still talking about sexual orientation, skin color, or ‘my religion is better than yours’”.
“We don’t really spend that much time on this planet, so there’s no reason to waste it dividing ourselves. Love yourself, love others, and love heavy metal!”
Judas Priest is currently touring Europe, promoting the album Firepower .
