Unlike much of his audience, Rob Halford is a big fan of Ghost . In November, he cited the song "Elizabeth" as his favorite during an interview with Revolver and said that the band is needed to "re-energize" the current rock scene.

Halford elaborated on his admiration for Ghost and the band's relevance today. "Ghost is an important band on many levels. Rock & roll – using the term in a very general context – needs a band like Ghost to re-energize us and restore our focus," he commented.

Tobias [ Forge ] meticulously crafted and sought, first and foremost, the musical strength of Ghost, and then the crucial visual elements, and both drew us into this world of mystery and intrigue of Emeritus ,” Halford concluded.

A few months ago, Rob Halford had already shown his affection for Ghost and his admiration for vocalist Tobias Forge. In an interview with Chaoszine , he expressed his happiness with the band's growing success:

“I’m very happy for Tobias, to see his ambition and dreams become so real. He worked so hard to transform Ghost into this global experience. The guy is a great talent, a fantastic performer on stage… The albums are wonderful; I’ve been following his career.”

Last Sunday, Rob Halford performed at Knotfest Brazil with Judas Priest after delivering an impeccable show at Vibra São Paulo on Thursday the 15th. Check out our review and photo gallery.
