Expanding horizons and blending different genres is nothing new in the music world, and even less so between metal and pop, especially when the subject is singer Lady Gaga .

Over the years, the artist, a self-proclaimed headbanger, has been the subject of praise, performances, and requests for collaboration from names like Godsmack , Metallica , and Anthrax , and now, the Metal God, Rob Halford , reinforces his admiration and desire to one day share the stage with the star.

In an interview with People , the Judas Priest said, “I knew instantly she was going to be huge as an artist. I’ve become a huge fan of everything she’s ever done, and that’s because I love all kinds of music. She’s the best at what she does.”

“She’s so pure, she’s so in touch with herself as a person, and the great, great, great, great things she’s done for the LGBTQ community,” he continues. “I would definitely do ‘Born This Way’ because it’s our anthem… and about Priest’s songs, I think I’d like to do ‘Breaking The Law’ with her because it talks about the frustration we face, especially as young people. And you don’t know what it’s like, you have no idea. You would do the same thing, breaking the law.”
