In a recent interview on the radio program SpeedFreaks , Rob Halford revealed that he was one of the select artists who received a revolver bullet containing Lemmy after his death.
In March, it was revealed that the musician had prepared this surprise for some of his friends before he died, and Rob is part of the circle of friends who received the gift. The Judas Priest mentioned the opportunity to speak during Lemmy's memorial and join friends in celebrating the musician's life. The gift arrived in the mail not long after.
“That’s crazy,” he said. “It’s the kind of thing Lemmy would have loved to have done. Interpret that however you want. But to know that he thought of me, that I was included in this small circle of friends who can literally have a piece of Lemmy’s ashes and wear them as a pendant around their neck and he’ll be close to their heart in the truest sense in terms of his remains. That’s overwhelmingly powerful.”
