The album will be released in March

Rob Halford, frontman of Judas Priest, was on the cover of Revolver 's February/March issue and spoke about the band's new album, Firepower.

In the interview, Halford revealed that the group wanted to make "the heaviest and most classic album possible, representing Judas Priest as a band that has been on the road for 40 years but at the same time, everything is so fresh and new."

Speaking about the album's creative process, the vocalist said he spent all day playing, trying to create strong riffs for Firepower . He also revealed that all this time yielded enough material for a double album, but his record label, Epic Records, convinced them to release a single album with 14 tracks.
