Rob Halford said he was thrilled that Judas Priest had been nominated again for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame .

The band was nominated in 2018 but didn't make it into the Hall of Fame. Today, it was revealed that they will have another chance with a second nomination.

He told Billboard: “It’s another thrill, again, to be nominated so quickly. I know that sometimes nominations can take a long time. So, to be nominated so quickly is wonderful. Another great moment for Priest and for the fans.”

Judas Priest was nominated along with Motörhead, Thin Lizzy, Soundgarden, T-Rex, MC5, Nine Inch Nails, Pat Benatar, Todd Rundgren, Depeche Mode, Dave Matthews Band, The Doobie Brothers, Kraftwerk, Whitney Houston, The Notorious BIG and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan .
