Rob Halford: "If I wasn't sober, I'd be dead."

Check the statement.

Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford was asked by The Washington Times whether his sobriety had anything to do with the band's long run. Check out his response:

"Without sobriety? Oh, I'd be dead. Literally, I'd be dead. I wouldn't be talking to The Washington Times right now. I wouldn't be here. The place I've reached, the next step, would be lost."

I love people. I love being in a band. I love making music. I had to discover that this is much more important than being addicted.

Rob Halford has been sober for over 30 years.
