Jimmy London , vocalist of the defunct band Matanza , performed a show in São Paulo last Sunday, the 10th, to celebrate the band's legacy alongside big names in metal.

Part of the Matanza Ritual , the performance took place at Tokio Marine Hall, produced by Top Link Music, and celebrated the musical legacy with Antônio Araújo (guitar, Korzus and One Arm Away ), Felipe Andreoli (bass, Angra ) and Amilcar Christófaro (drums, Torture Squad and Kisser Clan ) on stage.

“Our idea isn’t to form a band, or even a project. We want to create a celebration, to relive that ‘insane ritual’ that happened at Matanza shows. For that, we’ve called upon the best of the best musicians in the country to be the monks of all this madness,” comments London.

Our contributor Wellington Penilha was there and documented the performance. See the photos below.
