Matanza Ritual released behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of their new single "Rei Morto," which will be released on August 31st. The making-of video includes excerpts from the new song and testimonials from the musicians and project team.
According to Jimmy London , the song addresses a very specific type of person. "There are some guys who think they're kings, but they're dead kings," he explained. The band members commented that the song has a "western" feel: "It's a heavy, fast song, it's very much in keeping with this location [of the filming]," said Felipe Andreoli .
The music video for “Rei Morto” will be released on August 31st, while the single will only arrive on streaming platforms the following day, on September 1st. Pre-save is available on all major streaming platforms, access it here .
Matanza Ritual is formed by a team of national rock stars: vocalist Jimmy London, bassist Felipe Andreoli (Angra), guitarist Antônio Araújo (Korzus), and drummer Amílcar Christofáro (Torture Squad).
