New Rainbow lineup
Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore stated in an interview with the Japanese magazine Burn that the new Rainbow lineup, with whom he performed several shows in 2016, is expected to release new music
“I wrote a new song and also re-recorded an old one. Ronnie, who is in Madrid, recorded his vocals and sent it back. Instead of an album, it's possible we'll release singles.”.
The new Rainbow lineup, led by Ritchie Blackmore, features Ronnie Romero of Lords Of Black on vocals, Jens Johansson of Stratovarius on keyboards, David Keith of Blackmore's Night on drums, and Bob Nouveau, formerly of Blackmore's Night, on bass.
