According to a statement released by Roberto de Carvalho , the ceremony will take place at the São Pedro e São Paulo Parish, in Parque Alfredo Volpi, São Paulo. The mass will be streamed online, and the link will be shared on the day of the ceremony through the singer's social media channels.
Rita Lee passed away on Monday night , the 8th, at the age of 75. The official cause of death was not disclosed, but the family confirmed that Rita died at home, "surrounded by all the love of her family, as she always wished." The singer's wake was held at the Planetarium in Ibirapuera Park and was open to the public.
