Rita Lee has been discharged from the hospital and is at home, according to a post by her husband, Roberto de Carvalho , on Instagram this past Saturday, the 4th.
The singer was hospitalized on February 23rd at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo. After a great deal of commotion from the media and fans , Carvalho later posted on Instagram to reassure fans and say that she was only undergoing tests. Subsequently, the same post was made on the singer's Instagram.
Rita Lee discovered a tumor in her lung in May 2021 and subsequently began treatment. A few months later, it was confirmed that the radiotherapy she underwent was successful. The tests she has recently undergone are only for monitoring the disease.
