Globo Livros will release a book written by Rita Lee , titled The Myth of the Myth , on July 29th.
The fictional plot, which incorporates elements of reality and mystery, features the artist herself as the protagonist, in a story about a therapy session with a doctor who only sees patients at sunset.
The work was written over several years, from 2005 to 2019, and Lee only allowed it to be published after his death.
"I don't want anyone asking me about mere coincidences with real facts or people. Mystery writer," she wrote in the book.
The Myth of the Myth is available for pre-order on Amazon, with an exclusive eco-bag as a gift. There is also an edition signed by Guilherme Samora.
