This track is the second to receive a new interpretation by the band.

Rise Against recently announced that they are preparing to release a compilation album. Titled Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1 , the work will feature slower versions with new arrangements and orchestrations of great songs from the band's career.

The first track chosen to promote the album was “House on Fire”, originally recorded for Wolves (2017). Now, the group has released a new version of “Like the Angel” from their second studio album, Revolutions per Minute, released in 2003.

The video doesn't show much. The calm reinterpretation of the track plays while a disconnected payphone appears.

Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1 was recorded at Blasting Room studio in Colorado, USA, and produced by Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore. It will be released on July 27th.

Until then, check out the new versions of "Like the Angel" and "House on Fire".
