Next Friday, June 4th, will be a busy day for Rise Against . In addition to being the release date of their new studio album, Nowhere Generation , the mayor of Chicago, the band's hometown, has proclaimed the date Rise Against Day to honor the band, which was formed in 1999.
In preparation for the momentous day, Rise Against released the new song “Talking To Ourselves,” an energetic and rebellious track that evokes a bit of 2000s pop rock. Listen at the end of this post.
On Friday, the release day of Nowhere Generation Reckless Records store in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. 50 lucky fans who purchase a copy of the new album will be able to watch a solo acoustic performance by Tim McIlrath at the store, and the band will sign copies of the album immediately afterward.
