Rise Against ’s return . After three years, the band returns with a new track that will be featured on the soundtrack of the Dark Nights: Death Metal .
“'Broken Dreams, Inc.' is about the current state of American society, the opportunities that are available to some but not to others, the people who can benefit and those who are left behind, who suffer and end up as victims. How do we level the playing field so that everyone can have a real chance to achieve the American dream?” explains vocalist Tim McIlrath .
“One word, ‘disruption.’ You have to put power in the hands of the people, not businesses; you have to value people and the community above profit,” the singer continues. “You can’t have a country controlled by shareholders or a world controlled by shareholders, a world that values profit above all else, because profit above all else can result in dangerous repercussions for humanity.”
