Risca Faca released the lyric video for “Cana Braba” last Tuesday, April 15th. This is the band's third single, anticipating their debut EP, scheduled for the second half of 2025.
The song pays homage to Bar do Canela, a bohemian hangout in Pendotiba, Niterói (RJ), which served as the setting and inspiration for the composition.
The song is an ode to classic cheesy songs that soothe broken hearts and genuine laughter at the tables of the most traditional bars, said vocalist and lyricist Daniel Leon : “I was there having a few drinks, everyone in that mood… There was even a pet spider on the ceiling, and people were feeding it flies! I wanted to write a song about that — that beautiful feeling of suffering and getting drunk. The next day, I woke up with a hangover and the song ready!”
Formed by Daniel Leon (vocals and harmonica), Amando Puente (guitar and backing vocals), Igor Bilheri (bass) and Igor Figueiredo (drums), Risca Faca emerged in 2022 with the aim of fusing Northeastern Brazilian music with the heaviness of rock and metal.
