Ringo Starr participated in a segment on the American program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in which the host and the guest played toy instruments alongside the band The Roots .
The ex- Beatle chose "Yellow Submarine," a hit by the group, to sing and play a small drum set. Jimmy Fallon alternated between a drum, a wooden block, and horns, while the video references the music video in which the musicians appear as cartoons.
Starr will release his solo album What's My Name on October 25th. The album features Paul McCartney on "Grow Old With Me," one of the last songs written by John Lennon.
