Ringo Starr , iconic drummer of the Beatles , has announced a new EP to be released in 2021. Called Change The World , the project will feature four songs recorded during isolation.
The single “Let's Change The World” was released last Friday the 13th. With an optimistic message and an invitation to start changing our surroundings, one day at a time until a complete transformation.
“I’ve said that I only want to release EPs now, and this is the next one. What a blessing it has been this year to have a studio here at home and to be able to collaborate with so many great musicians, some I’ve worked with before and some new friends,” the musician commented in a press release .

Recording and special appearances
Like the EP Zoom In , released in March of this year, the project was recorded in the ex-Beatle's personal studio, Roccabella West. Each song explores a different musical genre, navigating through pop country, reggae, and rock and roll.
Among the confirmed collaborations on the EP are Linda Perry, Trombone Shorty, Amy Keys, Bruce Sugar, and Joe Walsh , guitarist for the Eagles .
Release date and tracklist
The project will be released on September 24th on all streaming platforms and on physical media, with vinyl available from November 10th. Change The World is already available for pre-order, access it here.
