Bob Marley 's 1977 classic , "Three Little Birds," reggae veterans Toots and The Maytals called on Ziggy Marley , one of the icon's sons, and Ringo Starr to collaborate on the song.
Ziggy contributes vocals to the new version of his father's track, Ringo plays percussion, and even his son, Zak Starkey , drummer for The Who , plays guitar on the song. The drums are handled by Jamaican Sly Dunbar , of the duo Sly & Robbie .
“Three Little Birds” will be on the new Toots and The Maytals album, which will be available on streaming platforms soon, on August 28th.
