After undergoing emergency surgery in September due to an aneurysm he suffered on stage , Richie Faulkner used Instagram to reassure fans and give new details about his recovery.
The Judas Priest wrote that he is feeling “strong and positive” seven weeks after the scare. He also assured that he has been playing guitar every day and intends to return to the stage as soon as possible. “My surgeons are very happy with my progress and they all booked tickets to see Priest from the front row haha,” he wrote.
“My incisions have healed very well and I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m walking well and moving freely. I’m quite active and will begin my cardiac therapy soon,” he stated.
Faulkner also mentioned that November is Thanksgiving month and said he has "many thanks to give this year," including to the fans for "their patience, their love and their support." Due to the guitarist's health condition, Judas Priest had to postpone all remaining dates of their US tour.
