Richard Ashcroft returns to Brazil as the opening act for Oasis . The iconic frontman of The Verve , known for the unforgettable song "Bitter Sweet Symphony," will perform in São Paulo at the Morumbi Stadium on November 22nd and 23rd.
The shows in Brazil will conclude Oasis' return to the stage, on the tour that marks the group's reunion after 15 years apart. Tickets for the 22nd are sold out, but some sections for the 23rd still have tickets available on the Ticketmaster website .
Richard Ashcroft will be coming to Brazil for the second time in his career, and the second time this year, after performing for two nights at the Best of Blues and Rock 2025 . Ashcroft achieved considerable success in the late 1980s as the vocalist for the British band The Verve. This visit to Brazil is a milestone, marking the artist's first time in the country.
Among the band's albums, one of the most successful was Urban Hymns (1997), featuring great classics from the band. The musician also opened for Oasis on their European tour.
