Watch the Refuse/Resist version
The duo Ricardo Vignini and Zé Helder, who blend Brazilian country guitar and Rock N' Roll, will perform at Sesc Pinheiros to launch their second album, Moda De Rock II. The show will take place on the 17th and will feature a guest appearance by Robertinho de Recife.
The duo's second album features chamamé-style versions (a traditional genre Refuse/Resist , Raining Blood , Ramones' We Want the Airwaves , Ozzy Osbourne's Diary of a Madman AC/DC's Thunderstruck Black Sabbath's Laguna Sunrise
Started in 2007, Moda de Rock emerged as a challenge launched by Ricardo Vignini and Zé Helder to their students of Viola Caipira (a type of Brazilian guitar), to showcase the instrument's potential. What began as a playful activity in music classes became a versatile project, allowing the duo to perform for diverse audiences throughout Brazil, Argentina, and the United States, totaling more than 300 shows.
A show not just for lovers of Brazilian folk music, but for fans of rock and music in general. Check out the show details:
