Greek thrash and death metal band Revolted Masses recently released their third album, Rise , featuring ten songs collectively composed by the group over the past two years.
The album was recorded in the band's own studio in Athens, and the production was the result of a collective effort among them.
The band was formed in 2008 and their sound combines elements of death and thrash metal with oriental touches, and their lyrics address social and political criticism.
The band chose Revolted Masses as their name because they believe that people have the power to change things, as long as each person believes in their own potential, and consequently, society can develop much more, bringing less suffering to the world.
Rise also features the music video for the single “Drown In Apathy,” which you can watch below.
