Black Veil Brides , an American band known for their electrifying performances, returned to Brazil for a single show in São Paulo. The performance was part of the closing of the Bleeders South American Tour 2024, and the audience turned out in force at Terra SP to support the band.

It was 9:05 PM when Andy Biersack (vocals), Jynxx (guitar/violin), Jake Pitts (guitar), Lonny Eagleton (bass), and Christian “CC” Coma (drums) finally took the stage to the sound of “Crimson Skies” and found a simply frenzied audience. “We’re so happy to be here,” said Andy before announcing “Rebel Love Song,” which got the fans incredibly excited. The groove of “Wake Up” had everyone jumping as they sang the catchy chorus loudly, making it clear that nothing would stop the fervent fans from intensely experiencing this moment.

Moreover, it was impressive how loud they were singing, especially the female members whose voices stood out amidst that sonic mass. "Nobody's Hero" was no different, and in an unexpected moment, Biersack surprised a fan by signing his poster. From their more recent songs, "Devil," part of the 2022 EP * The Mourning* The frenzied fans didn't stop for a single minute and responded accordingly, headbanging in true communion with the band.

The band reciprocated on stage, especially the guitarists and Andy, who delivered a breathtaking performance. They moved from one side to the other, interacting with each other and with the fans who went wild. “Scarlet Cross” was quite energetic, while “Torch” is more introspective, creating an interesting dynamic in the show, although this didn't diminish the singing of the band's fanatics in the slightest, who lit up the venue with their cell phone lights during the performance.

Andy urged the fans on with “CC” so the rest of the band could take a short break. It was time for the drum solo, which was just right and included unexpected moments like “CC” playing the trumpet at the front of the stage and then accompanying an electronic song that made the show feel like a ballad. Following that, the drumming kicked off the heavy “The Legacy,” one of the most celebrated songs of the night, as well as “Perfect Weapon,” which kept the energy high. It had been a long time since I'd seen a crowd so passionate and hysterical for the band. There might be people who don't know the band very well or even dislike them, but the energy was definitely contagious. At the end, everyone shouted the band's name and received a promise that they would return soon. They left the stage to the sound of “Knives And Pen.”.

A five-minute break left the audience apprehensive and thirsty for more. The encore began with "Lost It All," the most emotional track, which received a moving interpretation from Andy, accompanied by Jynnx on violin. At that moment, a girl in the box was singing so loudly that I could barely hear Andy singing; it was surreal. The farewell was with "Fallen Angels" and "In The End," leaving the fans ecstatic for the last time.

The intense performance, lasting only 1 hour and 8 minutes, didn't disappoint. Black Veil Brides delivered a straightforward and energetic show. From their insane stage presence to the unforgettable setlist, everything worked perfectly. The only downside was the three columns in the middle of the floor that obstructed the view from practically any section of the venue. Aside from that, it was one of those magical nights that will remain in everyone's memory for a long time.
