The effect of classical music is the opposite, according to the study.

A study by Auto Express magazine and the IAM Roadsmart institution revealed that driving while listening to heavy metal can affect your attention.

The study tested whether different genres affect drivers while they are behind the wheel. The results showed that heavy metal pushes people to an extreme level, potentially affecting their performance. Classical music has the opposite effect, while pop music is the ideal choice, as it keeps drivers focused and happy, resulting in a smooth driving experience.

The test presented Slipknot to drivers, and they had difficulty concentrating on turns and more complicated maneuvers. However, the results show that the real factor impacting concentration is the volume of the music. The louder the music, the more their attention is divided between driving and listening to it.
