the 8th, Republica released a moving video in tribute to the band's late guitarist, Jorge Marinhas .
Marinhas, whose death was announced at the end of last month , received an incredible tribute in the form of words, images and, of course, music, made by his bandmates.
On social media, the band Republica wrote, when posting the video in tribute to the musician , “Jorge, we already miss you so much… It’s very difficult to imagine us without you. But, if there’s one certainty among us, it’s how much you would want to see us together and moving forward. Therefore, that’s what we’re going to do. And you can rest assured that we will always follow all your advice, examples, and teachings. You were and always will be our MASTER! Continue illuminating us with your inexhaustible energy. This is a small tribute to you. Rest in peace, brother. With our eternal love, Luiz , Leo , Migou , and Mike .”
The video, set to the song "Tears Will Shine" from the 2017 album Brutal & Beautiful , shows images of the late guitarist in the place where he shone brightest: the stage.
