Belarusian customs officials asked for autographs

Customs officials at Belarus airport mistook members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers for members of Metallica this weekend.

“We were called by customs agents at the Belarus airport and they asked us to autograph a bunch of Metallica CDs and photos,” Flea commented.

The photo above shows the moment the bassist is signing the items for the Belarusian federal police.

“We tried to explain that we weren’t Metallica, but they insisted that we sign the items anyway. Well, in fact, I played 'Fight Fire With Fire' once with Metallica. I love Metallica, but I’m no Robert Trujillo,” added the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist.
