Red Hot Chili Peppers are number one on the Billboard 200 of best-selling albums in the United States with their new album Unlimited Love , their first with John Frusciante in 16 years .

According to the magazine , the band's new album has sold 97,500 copies since its release on April 1st, dethroning Machine Gun Kelly 's Mainstream Sellout from the top spot. The musician is now in ninth position on the chart.

Red Hot Chili Peppers have placed eight albums in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 throughout their career, and this is the band's second time at the top of the chart, a feat also achieved with Stadium Arcadium (2006).
