Red Hot Chili Peppers released this Friday, the 4th, the track "Poster Child", the second single from the band's new album, which will be the first since the return of guitarist John Frusciante to the group.
The highly anticipated return of the current RHCP lineup was marked by the song "Black Summer ," released in February. The band's new album, titled Unlimited Love , will be released on April 1st. See the cover and full tracklist here .
“John hasn’t been in the band for 10 years. That’s a long time. So of course it’s going to sound different, but it’s going to sound like the four of us because we have this special chemistry together. It sounds like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but it’s different and new, and for me that’s great… We really like the result and we’re proud,” commented Chad Smith about the new project.
