Red Fang has released another single from their upcoming studio album, Arrows , scheduled for release on June 4th. "Funeral Coach" follows the album's title track.
Speaking about the song in a statement released to the press, vocalist and bassist Aaron Beam said: “I was driving and I saw a hearse that said 'funeral coach services' on the back. So the first thing that popped into my head was a guy with a headset and a clipboard saying, 'Come on guys – more tears! The first five minutes are when the tears are critical, or nobody will believe that anyone cares about this person's death.'”
Arrows was produced by the band in collaboration with longtime colleague Chris Funk . “It was very rewarding to record these songs with Funk!”, said the vocalist when commenting on the album. “We felt very comfortable with a flexible routine. We didn’t play/create one song at a time, but added guitars, vocals or general weirdness whenever an idea came to mind. It was a lot of fun!”
