Red Fang announces album and releases comedic music video for single “Arrows”; watch it here.

Red Fang returns with its most comedic and creative side.

Red Fang announced last Monday, the 5th, their new studio album, Arrows . The album is scheduled for release on June 4th via Relapse Records and its first single has been released.

“Arrows,” the album’s title track, was released to celebrate the announcement and came with a comical music video, as is customary for the band. The video was directed by longtime colleague Whitey McConnaughy and shows the band playfully wielding a sword that, according to a line of dialogue at the beginning of the video, was bought with the money they received for the video’s budget.

During the four and a half minute video, we follow the band as they adventure with their newly purchased sword, destroying everything in their path, from plastic bottles to vinyl records (what a shame!).

Speaking about the decision to work with McConaughey again, guitarist David Sullivan recalled that the first music video they made together was "Prehistoric Dog," and according to him, the video gave the group a "kick towards fame." "And we loved working with him," the guitarist concluded.

Vocalist and bassist Aaron Beam added that the album has been ready since December 2019 and that the process was light and without pressure, which is exactly what we perceive during the music video.
