Deicide
Deicide has released their 13th studio album, Banished By Sin. This work follows Overtures of Blasphemy , from 2018.
Vocalist Glen Benton comments on his inspiration for the new work (via Blabbermouth ): “For several years I’ve been sitting in a dark corner. Some things happened in my life that shook me and changed me. I was inspired to write this new album, it was like pressing a button. I stopped chasing everyone else’s happiness a long time ago. The guy who started this is back! And it’s good to be back!”
Benton adds: “Musically, we’re back in the style of the 1990s. There are modern things in there too. It’s Deicide the way it should be.”
