Record label cancels contract and suspends campaign for Marilyn Manson's album due to abuse allegations.

"Due to how things have unfolded, we have decided never to work with Marilyn Manson again," the label says.

Loma Vista Recordings has announced the suspension of the contract and promotional campaigns for Marilyn Manson .

The reason was the confirmation by actress Evan Rachel Wood that Manson was the abuser she had previously reported, but without yet identifying him.

The actress revealed today, the 1st, after suspicions arose , that her ex-partner had been abusing her psychologically and physically for years. Other women have also identified Manson as an abuser.

The Loma Vista issued a statement and removed Marilyn Manson's name from its roster on its official website. The statement reads:

“In light of the disturbing allegations made today by Evan Rachel Wood and other women, identifying Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will immediately withdraw all promotion of Manson’s current album. And due to the troubling turn of events, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects.”

The label also removed approximately 25 items of merchandise from the artist that were available for sale on its website, and they are no longer available.

On her official Instagram, Evan Rachel Wood wrote, “My abuser’s name is Brian Warner , also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He began harassing me when I was a teenager and abused me in horrific ways for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into being submissive. I am tired of living in fear of retaliation, defamation, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and denounce the industries that allow him to operate, before he ruins more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silenced.”

Neither Marilyn Manson nor his team have commented on the reports so far.
