Ratos de Porão finally returns to the stage for a series of live shows in São Paulo to celebrate 40 years of their career. Each performance will be unique and tickets are limited.
There will be five performances at Iglesia, a newly opened concert venue in Pinheiros owned by Jão , the band's guitarist. Each show is completely unique and will feature the complete repertoire from the albums Crucificados pelo Sistema (1984), Descanse em Paz (1986), Cada Dia mais Sujo e Agressivo (1987), Brasil (1989) and Anarkophobia (1991), respectively.
The shows will always take place on Fridays, between November 19th and December 17th, with entry limited to 100 tickets per night. If tickets sell out, the production will consider announcing a second performance of each themed show on the Saturday following the event in question.
“Forty years as a band is a milestone to be celebrated. We've already scheduled it for November to coincide with Ratos de Porão's anniversary month. We're really eager to play,” says the guitarist.
The performances mark the punk quartet's return to live shows after nearly two years away due to the pandemic. The first celebrations of their four decades on the road took place via live streams , but now the public will be able to witness the group in person for this celebration.
Wearing a mask and presenting proof of vaccination against the novel coronavirus, with at least one dose administered, will be mandatory. See below for dates and how to purchase tickets for each performance.
