The vocalist says: “I always dreamed of being a writer, ever since I started reading. But I never imagined that my first book would be about such a sad topic. Sometimes, however, life unexpectedly gives you stories that need to be told. I think mine is one of them (for several reasons, not just for my own benefit), so I will tell it with the respect and dignity that everyone involved deserves. It will be a good read, and I promise and hope that something good will come of it.”

The book is scheduled for release in 2014 and will be published by Da Capo Press, which has previously published memoirs by figures such as Tony Iommi, Corey Taylor, Rex Brown, and Al Jourgensen.
