Prosecutors can appeal the decision
Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe was found not guilty today by a panel of three judges in a Prague court. The decision was announced this morning.
The band's Twitter account posted the phrase "Randy is finally free." On his Instagram, Blythe wrote, "I have been found innocent and am free of the charges against me. I am a free man."
If found guilty, Blythe would face a 10-year prison sentence and would have to pay $530,000 in compensation to Daniel Nosek's family.
The prosecutors in the case have indicated that they intend to appeal the sentence. The appeal must be filed within 8 days.
