Rancid has announced their first album in six years. Titled Tomorrow Never Comes , the band's tenth album will be released on June 2nd.
To celebrate the new release, the band launched the title track – listen at the end of this article. The album follows Trouble Maker , and like its predecessor, it was produced by Epitaph Records owner and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz.
The single “Tomorrow Never Comes” features three vocalists, with Tim Armstrong handling the verses, Lars Frederiksen taking on the main chorus, and bassist Matt Freeman singing “tomorrow” in response to the chorus.
Prior to the album's release, Rancid will headline the Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival in Las Vegas on May 28th. Following that, they embark on a European and UK tour that begins on the album's release date in Rimini, Italy, and concludes on June 25th in Tabor, Czech Republic, at the Mighty Sounds Festival. They will return to the United States for the Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals in the fall.
