Ramones and Obituary have received CD re-releases in Brazil, arriving in stores in July. This is a partnership between Wikimetal and Oporto da Música , which monthly releases rock and metal albums never before available on CD or difficult to access. The albums are available in major stores and at the Wikimetal Store .
Ramones
The Ramones' third project, Rocket to Russia , was released in 1977 and was the last with original drummer Tommy Ramone , who left the band a year later to dedicate himself to production.
Also arriving in stores is It's Alive , the group's first live album. The work, featuring songs from the Ramones' first three albums, was recorded at the Rainbow Theatre in London on December 31, 1977. Four shows during the UK tour were recorded, but the New Year's Eve show was chosen as it was considered the best performance.
Obituary
Considered a landmark in the death metal genre, Cause Of Death (1990) is Obituary's second album. It is the first release with bassist Frank Watkins , and also the first and only project with guitarist James Murphy , former member of Death .
