The lead singer was accused of assault after a fight at a hotel in Germany

Till Lindemann , vocalist of Rammstein , has been accused of assault following a fight that occurred in a hotel last Saturday, the 8th, after a concert by the band in Munich, Germany.

The singer allegedly broke the jaw of a man who, according to witnesses at the scene, insulted the musician's companion, insinuating that she was a prostitute. Lindemann and the woman, who was not identified, were embracing in the hotel lobby when a man approached and said, "I'll pay double to be with you.".

Lindemann confronted him and asked him to apologize, but the man refused and raised his fists, telling the vocalist to leave. The musician responded by elbowing the individual in the face.

After the fight gained attention, Shophia Thomalla , a model who dated Lindemann for five years, denied that he has violent tendencies and defended him, saying he is the most polite man she knows. "I have no idea what angered him, but if he exploded, his reaction was justified," she said.

Rammstein is currently on tour promoting their self-titled album, which they recently released. The album has 11 tracks, one of which is the single "Deutschland," which caused controversy with its music video that tells the story of Germany, including depicting the Holocaust.
